Summer day camps are available to all, from beginner to the more advanced. Campers will spend the week in constant interaction with horses, learning how to feed, groom and care for them and their tack. Campers may attend with or without a horse. A well trained mount can be provided if you can't bring your own. Camp starts at 10:00am and pick up time is between 3-4pm.
Camp week involves:
- riding lesson in the morning
- daily theory lesson (parts of the horse, markings, different tack, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc)
- learn to properly care for tack and horse
- trail ride
- bareback riding
- swimming
- braiding, clipping, grooming
- crafts and outdoor activities
Campers will dress up their horses and put on a mini show show for the parents at the end of the week to show what they have learned.
Do you have horse crazy child? Make their birthday one to remember! Call and we will organize a horse themed birthday party for your child which includes everyone attending getting to ride a horse!
